Making Space for Joy

This picture really speaks the the new ‘current mood’ I’m becoming acquainted with. My cousin and I call It happy/sad and It isn’t deeper than that, but a stark contrast to how I felt before. Before, I was just happy and I am a huge lover of all things life (especially my lighthouse of a son and also, plants) And now there is a sadness that I carry but I’m past feeling It has to cloud each day or dull every glimmer of sunlight. Happiness and sadness can be close friends, spend their time together, journey the same path. And just maybe they even help each other along the way, reminding and growing and evolving us as one, more unified, soul.
